On April 20, 2018, Nobel Laureate Physician Professor Takaaki Kajita visited the laboratory. He had a detailed understanding of the beer brewing process and the brewing raw materials used. He also expressed his appreciation for the new laboratory with such characteristics in the university and wrote "I like the beer!" on the laboratory guestbook.
