In the afternoon of October 30, 2018, the three German students exchanged ideas with undergraduates of the Sino-German College of Intelligent Manufacturing and made a theme report on "An introduction to German culture, the OTH Regensburg and Mechanical Engineering at the OTH".

First of all, Tobias Bohrer introduced the Germany and German culture to the students, including Germany's geographical location, climate, area, population and other conditions in detail. He also showed students photos of German cities, villages, natural scenery and attractions. Later, Oliver Grill introduced the Regensburg University of Applied Sciences to the students, laying a foundation for students who plan to visit Germany in the future. Johannes Hermann introduced the details of the mechanical engineering major of the Regensburg University of Applied Sciences and the study and daily life of graduate students, and exchanged ideas with the students on the related courses of mechanical engineering for undergraduates and graduate students.

After the report, the students actively communicated freely with the three German students.

In the afternoon of November 1, 2018, the three German students participated in the exchange meeting held by the graduate school with 32 graduate students.

The exchange consisted of a visit to the Sino-German beer process control laboratory and a seminar. First of all, Shen Wenjing led the students to visit the beer laboratory. Shen Wenjing introduced the four ingredients of German beer including barley malt and hops, and thoroughly explained the grinding, saccharification, purification, boiling, precipitation, cooling, and fermentation, enabling students to have a deeper understanding of the beer brewing process. During the period, the graduate students and Germany students tasted the beer brewed in the laboratory and discussed related issues.
